What kind of leather do you use?
For most of our products, we use full-grain vegetable-tanned leather sourced from trusted local suppliers. Each piece is carefully chosen for durability, beauty, and character. Since leather is a natural material, expect variations in texture, markings, and tone; it’s part of the charm. But we do, however have a few products that we make from chrome tanned leather.
Are your products handmade?
Yes. Every item at Samanyanga Leather is individually handmade by our artisans. We do not mass-produce. Each product is crafted with care and attention to detail, making every piece one-of-a-kind.
Do you accept custom orders
Absolutely. We’re happy to work with you to create custom designs, including names, initials, or specific features. Please email us at info@samanyanga.co.za to start the conversation.
How long will my order take?
Our products are made to order, so please allow 5 to 14 business days for crafting before shipping. Custom or bulk orders may take longer. If you need something urgently, let us know and we’ll see what’s possible.
Where do you ship to?
Currently we ONLY shipping across South Africa. Shipping rates and delivery times vary by location and are calculated at checkout.
How do I care for my leather product?
To keep your leather item looking its best:
• Avoid water and moisture
• Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth • Use a quality leather balm occasionally to condition it
• Store in a cool, dry place when not in use

How do I track my order?
Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Use this to track your package via the courier’s website.
Can I return or exchange a product?
Because our products are handmade and often custom, we do not accept returns for change of mind. However, if your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll sort it out. See our Refund Policy for more.
Do you offer gift cards?
Not at the moment, but we are working on it! Follow us or subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when gift cards become available.
